Vickers Vimy are a five piece collective formed by Ed Drea & Fintan Hanley.
They are a Galway based band and take their name from one of the the most celebrated cross Atlantic adventures, the flight of the Vickers Vimy from New Foundland to Clifden, Connemara in 1919.
This struck a chord with Ed and Fintan, and the pair collected their notebooks and songs and endeavoured to make a record.
